What's New at eLibrary CE eLibrary CE Updates & Usage Boosters
2008 Election Coverage in eLibrary It's back to school time! And with a presidential election on the horizon, our editorial team has worked overtime to add relevant, timely content with a decidedly political bent.

Since our last enewsletter, we've added more than a dozen fresh titles, including CNN Election Center, CBS Evening News, Race for the White House with David Gregory (MSNBC), This Week in Politics (CNN), Verdict with Dan Abrams (MSNBC), Issue Number One (CNN), and Ballot Bowl 2008 (CNN). As always, the quickest way to tap into these new titles is to conduct a Publication Search.

  U.S. Government Course BookCart Collection
Here's an opportunity to provide immediate support for the Social Studies teachers in your school that teach U.S. Government or Civics.

We've created a fresh collection of 21 BookCarts/QuizCarts (list) that mirror the major chapter topics found in many U.S. Government/Civics texts. These BookCarts also reflect the national standards for Information Literacy and Social Studies.

You can copy (learn how) and adapt this collection for your Social Studies teachers, then promote them as lesson plan tools that will save valuable classroom/library time to ensure that students select only from the best resources.
